We never get tired of seeing a Blackguard, especially one as beautiful as this 1951 Fender Telecaster in its original Blond finish! After a short time without a name for this particular model, the name “Telecaster” emerged in the Fall of 1951. This guitar is a stunning example of that exact transition! This Telecaster was obviously well loved and cared for throughout its lifetime! The neck carve is one of the most comfortable profiles we’ve played with ample fret life left. Tadeo Gomez’s stamp of approval is present in both the neck pocket and neck heel. The pickups offer a great diversity of tone, with a 7.02K in the bridge, and a 5.05K in the neck.
It weighs in at 6 lbs and 14 oz and comes with original case.
