1955 Fender Precision Bass in its original Blond finish. The Precision Bass was introduced in 1951 and in 1954 Fender altered the design to include contours like the Stratocaster. This particular bass was made in the spring of 1955 and represents the very end of the standard Blond finish and black pickguard, with Fender soon changing to a standard Sunburst finish and white pickguard.
Overall this P Bass is in good condition. It has seen its fair share of playwear over the years, giving it that perfect feel and sound. It is all original and comes with its original tweed case and cable.
