A wonderful 1957 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst! This particular instrument was produced just three years after the debut of the Stratocaster in 1954, and is a stunning example from that Golden Age in Fender’s history. The grain of the alder body is showcased beautifully by the two tone sunburst; the last full year before Fender employed the three tone sunburst in later 1958 and into 1959. The maple neck has been lovingly worn over the years, and has developed an exceptional vintage patina. The neck profile itself is a full C shape that fills the palm comfortably. The three sonically voiced pickups give the guitar an excellent tone, with a 5.70K in the bridge, 5.63K in the neck, and 5.83K in the neck position.
It weighs in at 7 lbs 4 oz, and comes with original hardshell Tweed case.
