Here we have a really spectacular 1965 Fender Stratocaster in original Olympic White! What makes this guitar so special is that it’s one of the earlier examples to feature a “maple cap” fretboard with the traditional smaller headstock! Fender had been using rosewood veneer for several years for their fretboards, but experimented with a maple veneer in the mid-60s. It wasn’t until 1966 that this feature was offered on production guitars. This guitar has a full medium C profile, with frets in great condition and a transition logo on the headstock. It features three well balanced pickups, with a 5.58K rating in the bridge, 5.33K in the middle and 5.48K in the neck position.
It weighs in at 8 lbs and comes with original Fender case.
