Well Strung Guitars has changed locations! While we absolutely loved our Main Street location, we simply outgrew it. Don't fret though...we're still in Farmingdale village. Our new address is 330 Conklin Street, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
The entrance to our new store is in the rear and can be accessed via the municipal lot (entrances off of Conklin Street AND Prospect Street).
We can't wait for you all to see the new space and for us to get back to doing what we do best...buying and selling vintage guitars!
1971 Fender Telecaster in its original Wildwood Orange finish. In 1968 Fender introduced a new "Wildwood" finish, which was achieved by injecting dye into beech trees. These finishes were only available on Coronados and acoustic guitars, making this Telecaster a very unique example. It is likely that this guitar was made for a trade show.
This Telecaster is in near mint condition and all original. It weighs 7 lbs 6 oz and sounds great. Comes with its original hardshell case.
If you have any questions, please give us a call at 516-221-0563. We'd be happy to give you an in-hand description of the guitar. All of our guitars are properly set up by John Bertsche, our brilliant guitar tech, and will be professionally packed with care.
