A classic 1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Cherry Sunburst! Gibson changed the construction of the Les Paul models several times since its return in 1968, and the Custom was no exception. This example features a nicely figured three-piece maple top, and a solid one-piece mahogany back, and a three-piece maple neck. The entire guitar is framed beautifully in a bright cherry sunburst, even the sides, and the back of both the neck and body! The neck is a slender, fast feeling C profile, with a stunning ebony fretboard and block pearl inlays. The wide, low frets making playing this guitar a real joy! Two T-Top humbuckers give this guitar an unbelievably strong tone, with a 7.32K in the bridge, and 7.46K in the neck position.
It weighs in at 10 lbs 10 oz, and comes with original Gibson hardshell case.
If you have any questions, please give us a call at 516-221-0563. We'd be happy to give you an in-hand description of the guitar. All of our guitars are properly set up by John Bertsche, our brilliant guitar tech, and will be professionally packed with care.
